+      <p>Für diesen Plugin wird Total Commander 6.50 oder neuer
+        benötigt. Total Commander 7.03 oder neuer wird empfohlen.</p>
+      <h2>3. Benutzung<a name="use"></a></h2>
+      <p>Bevor man die Felder von DirSizeCalc tatsächlich benutzen kann,
+        müssen diese in dem Teil des Total Commanders hinzugefügt
+        werden, in dem sie eingesetzt werden sollen. Im Grunde lassen
+        sich alle Inhaltplugins auf die gleiche Art und Weise einsetzen.

+      <h3>3.1 Anwendungsfälle<a name="use_cases"></a></h3>
+      <p>Im Folgenden wird das Einrichten in den verschiedenen
+        Programmteilen des Total Commanders anhand verschiedener
+        Anwendungsfälle exemplarisch erklärt.</p>
+      <h4>3.1.1. Größe von Dateien und Verzeichnissen automatisch
+        anzeigen<a name="use_cases_automatic_calculation"></a></h4>
+      <h5>Benutzerdefinierte Spaltenansicht</h5>
+      <p>Total Commander bietet die Möglichkeit mit dem Befehl
+        cm_CountDirContent (Tastenkürzel: Umschalt+Alt+Enter) die Größe
+        aller angezeigten Verzeichnisse zu ermitteln. Ein automatisches
+        Berechnen nach jedem Verzeichniswechsel ist jedoch nicht
+        möglich. Mit dem Feld "Größe" werden die Verzeichnisgrößen nach
+        dem Öffnen des Verzeichnisses schnellstmöglich angezeigt. Im
+        folgenden wird Schritt für Schritt erklärt, wie dies
+        eingerichtet werden kann. </p>
+      <ol>
+        <li>Wählen Sie im Menü mit Konfigurieren/Einstellungen um den
+          Konfigurationsdialogzu öffnen.</li>
+        <li>Wähle die Seite "Benutzerdef. Spalten".</li>
+        <li>Drücke den Knopf "Neu", um eine neue benutzerdefinierte
+          Spaltenansicht zu erstellen</li>
+        <li>In dem jetzt erscheinenden Dialog kann man festlegen wie
+          viele Spalten die Ansicht haben und was diese Spalten anzeigen
+          soll. Drücke zunächst den Knopf "Spalte hinzufügen". Es wird
+          eine neue leere Zeile mit Eigenschaften angezeigt. Dies
+          repräsentiert die Eigenschaften der neuen Spalte.</li>
+        <li>Als nächstes wird festgelegt was in der Spalte angezeigt
+          werden soll. Um das Feld in der erstellten Spalte zu nutzen,
+          klicke auf den Knopf mit dem +. Wähle
+          dirsizecalc/Größe/&lt;Voreinstellung&gt; in dem erscheinenden
+          Menü. In der Eigenschaft Feldinhalt wird nun
+          [dirsizecalc.Größe] angezeigt. Statt &lt;Voreinstellung&gt;
+          kann man auch eine andere Einheit wählen. Näheres dazu im
+          Kapitel Einheiten. In der Eigenschaft Titel wird übrigens der
+          Text angezeigt, der später im Spaltenkopf erscheint. Diesen
+          kann nach Belieben ändern. </li>
+        <li>Drücke OK, um den aktuellen Dialog "Benutzerdefinierte
+          Spalten" zu schließen.</li>
+        <li>Drücke OK, um auch den Konfigurationsdialog zu schließen.</li>
+      </ol>
+      <h4>3.1.2. Leere Verzeichnisbäume löschen<a
+          name="use_cases_delete_empty_folder_trees"></a></h4>
+      <h5>Suchfunktion</h5>
+      <p> Eine große Anzahl Verzeichnisse, die keine Dateien enthalten,
+        kann die Übersicht im Dateisystem erschweren. Es empfiehlt sich
+        daher von Zeit zu Zeit aufzuräumen. Werte von Inhaltplugins
+        können in der Total Commander-Suche genutzt werden, um die
+        Anzahl der Suchergebnisse zu verringern. Hier wird die also die
+        Suchfunktion des Total Commander zusammen mit dem DirSizeCalc
+        Plugin genutzt, um nur Verzeichnisse zu finden, die keine
+        Dateien enthalten. </p>
+      <ol>
+        <li>Im Menü mit Befehle "Suchen" aufrufen. </li>
+        <li>Auf den Tab "Plugins" wechseln.</li>
+        <li>Im Tab Plugins können Regeln festgelegt werden. Für jede
+          Datei und jedes Verzeichnis im Suchbereich werden die vom
+          Benutzer festgelegten Regeln überprüft. Nur wenn die Regel
+          zutrifft, wird die Datei oder das Verzeichnis der
+          Suchergebnisliste hinzugefügt. In diesem Fall lautet die
+          Regel. Plugin: dirsizecalc, Feld: Enthält Dateien, Operator: =
+          und Wert: Nein. Im Folgenden werden Suchregeln in der Kurzform
+          wie z. B. dirsizecalc.Enthält Dateien=Nein dargestellt. Das
+          Feld "Enthält Dateien stellt sicher, dass nur Verzeichnisse
+          gefunden werden, die auch wirklich keine Dateien enthalten.
+          Wenn das Verzeichnis Dateien enthält ist oder ein Problem beim
+          Ermitteln des Inhalts aufgetreten ist, wird das Verzeichnis
+          bei der Suche nicht gefunden.</li>
+        <li>Klicke auf den Knopf "Suche starten".</li>
+        <li>Klicke auf den Knopf "Anwenden", um das Suchergebnis in
+          einem Total Commander Dateifenster anzuzeigen.</li>
+        <li>Markiere alle im dem Fenster Suchergebnisse angezeigten
+          Verzeichnisse.</li>
+        <li>Wende die Löschen-Operation auf die markierten Dateien an.
+          Dabei können Meldungen des Total Commander angezeigt werden,
+          dass ein Verzeichnis nicht leer sei. Das ist auch richtig,
+          jedoch handelt es sich hierbei um ein Verzeichnis, dass
+          lediglich leere Unterverzeichnisse enthält. Die Meldung kann
+          also mit Klicken auf "Alle" bejaht werden. </li>
+      </ol>
+      <p>Alternativ kann auch die Regel dirsizecalc.Leer=Ja verwendet
+        werden. In diesem Fall werden die Verzeichnisse ohne Warnungen
+        gelöscht, weil sie ja nicht einmal leere Unterverzeichnisse
+        enthalten. Der Nachteil ist allerdings, dass nach dem Löschen
+        wieder neue leere Verzeichnisse entstehen und der Vorgang
+        solange wiederholt werden muss, bis keine leeren Verzeichnisse
+        mehr gefunden werden.</p>
+      <p>&nbsp;</p>
+      <p>Es empfiehlt sich in jedem Fall die Suchparameter
+        abzuspeichern, um die Suche zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt
+        komfortabel wiederholen zu können. </p>
+      <p>&nbsp;</p>
+      <h4>3.1.3. Herausfinden ob sich Kompression lohnt<a
+          name="use_cases_check_if_comression_makes_sense"></a></h4>
+      <h5>Benutzerdefinierte Spaltenansicht </h5>
+      <h5>Suchfunktion</h5>
+      <p>Das Windows-Dateisystem NTFS bietet die Möglichkeit für jede
+        Datei das Attribut "Komprimiert" zu setzen. Die Datei wird
+        komprimiert, man kann aber im Gegensatz zu Archiven genauso mit
+        den Dateien arbeiten als wären sie unkomprimiert. Warum sind
+        dann nicht alle Dateien automatisch komprimiert? Das Lesen und
+        Schreiben komprimierter Dateien dauert länger als mit
+        unkomprimierten. Aus diesem Grund sollte man möglichst nur
+        Dateien komprimieren, in die selten geschrieben wird. Viele
+        Dateien sind Archive oder Datentypen mit einem besonders hohen
+        Informationsgehalt. Diese können mit der NTFS-Kompression kaum
+        noch weiter komprimiert werden. Hier kommen die Felder
+        "Komprimierte Größe" und "Kompressionsrate" von DirSizeCalc ins
+        Spiel. Die Konfiguration erfolgt analog zu dem Anwendungsfall
+        "Größe von Dateien und Verzeichnissen automatisch anzeigen", es
+        wird jedoch noch eine Spalte mit dem Feld "Komprimierte Größe"
+        hinzugefügt. Alternativ kann man auch konkret nach Dateien
+        suchen, die nicht besonders stark komprimiert werden konnten.
+        Die Suche wird wie in "Leere Verzeichnisbäume löschen "
+        gestartet, im Reiter Plugins werden jedoch andere Regeln
+        definiert. Sie könnten beispielsweise wie folgt lauten:</p>

+      <h4>3.1.4. Herausfinden wie viele Dateien sich im einem

+      <h4>3.1.5. Herausfinden ob ein Verzeichnis Unterverzeichnisse

+          als Hilfstext falls abgeschnitten" und "Win32-artige Tipps mit
+          Dateikommentaren" aktiviert sind.</li>
+        <li>Klicke auf den Knopf "+", um einen benutzerdefinierten
+          Tooltip zu erstellen.</li>
+        <li>Es öffnet sich der Dialog "Benutzerdefinierte Felder nach
+          Dateityp". Klicke hier auf den Knopf "Hinzufügen", um einen
+          neuen Dateityp hinzuzufügen.</li>
+        <li>Es erscheint der Dialog "Dateiart angeben". Gebe hier *.*
+          ein, um alle Verzeichnisse mit einzubeziehen.</li>
+        <li>Den Dialog "Dateiart angeben" mit OK schließen. </li>
+        <li>Jetzt erscheint ein Dialog der ebenfalls mit
+          "Benutzerdefinierte Felder nach Dateityp" betitelt ist. Gebe
+          zunächst in dem Textfeld "Enthält Unterverzeichnisse: " ein
+          (ohne Anführungszeichen).</li>
+        <li>Drücke auf den Knopf "+".</li>
+        <li>Wähle im erscheinenden Menü dirsizecalc/Enthält
+          Unterverzeichnisse. In dem Textfeld sollte nun "Enthält
+          Unterverzeichnisse: [=dirsizecalc.Enthält Unterverzeichnisse]"
+          (ohne Anführungszeichen) stehen.</li>
+        <li> Schließe den Dialog "Benutzerdefinierte Felder nach
+          Dateityp" mit OK. </li>
+        <li>Schließe den Dialog "Benutzerdefinierte Felder nach
+          Dateityp" mit OK.</li>
+        <li>Schließe den Konfigurationsdialog mit OK.</li>
+      </ol>
+      <p>Das beschriebene Vorgehen kann in leicht abgewandelter Form
+        auch genutzt werden, um mit der Funktion "Farben nach Dateityp"
+        alle Verzeichnisse einzufärben, die Unterverzeichnisse
+        enthalten. In diesem Fall weist der Total Commander DirSizeCalc
+        an die Berechnung im Vordergrund durchzuführen, weshalb der
+        Total Commander während der Berechnung blockiert ist.</p>
+      <p>&nbsp;</p>
+      <h4>3.1.6. Laden der Verzeichnisgrößen für alle selektierten oder
+        aller Felder auf Knopfdruck<a
+          name="use_cases_load_fields_on_demand"></a></h4>
+      <p>Viele Nutzer wollen nicht, dass alle Felder automatisch
+        berechnet werden. Vielmehr sollen die Größen der aktuell
+        ausgewählten Verzeichnisse wissen. Mit Total Commander 7.5 ist
+        das nun möglich. Hier ein Beispiel wie dies durch Drücken einer
+        Tastenkombination erreicht werden kann.</p>
+      <ol>
+        <li>Starte das mitgelieferte Einstellungsprogramm
+          (DirSizeCalcSetting.exe).</li>
+        <li>Wählen Sie hier für das bereits voreingestellte Feld "Größe"
+          im rechts angezeigten Fenster "Feldeinstellungen bearbeiten"
+          die Option "Bei Bedarf" laden.</li>

+          selektierten Verzeichnisse zu ermitteln oder
+          cm_LoadAllOnDemandFields, um die Größe aller angezeigten
+          Verzeichnisse zu ermitteln. </li>
+        <li>Klicken Sie auf OK, um den gewählten Befehl zu übernehmen. </li>
+        <li>Klicken Sie im Konfigurationsdialog auf die Schaltfläche mit
+          dem Häkchen.</li>
+        <li>Klicken Sie auf OK, um den Konfigurationsdialog zu
+          schließen. </li>
+        <li>Wählen Sie nun die Verzeichnisse aus, deren Größe berechnet
+          werden soll.</li>
+        <li>Drücken Sie die gewählte Tastenkombination. </li>
+      </ol>
+      <p>Einmal eingerichtet ist nur noch das Einstellen der Erstellen
+        benutzerdefinierten Spaltenansicht und die Schritte 15-16 nötig.
+        Obwohl die neuen Befehle in der Kategorie "Benutzerdef.
+        Ansichten" gelistet sind, funktionieren sie ebenso gut in der
+        Miniaturansicht. </p>
+      <h3>3.2 Zusatzinformationen für angezeigte Werte<a
+          name="additional_information"></a></h3>
+      <p>DirSizeCalc zeigt einige Tokens vor dem Berechnungsergebnis an,
+        wenn nicht der komplette Verzeichnisinhalt ermittelt werden
+        konnte. Dies kann verschiedene Ursachen haben: </p>
+      <ul>
+        <li>ZV = Zugriff verweigert. Dieser Fehler wird angezeigt, wenn
+          der aktuelle Benutzer keine ausreichenden Zugriffsrechte für
+          das Öffnen eines Verzeichnisses hat. </li>
+        <li>U = Nicht lesbarer Unicode-Name. Dieser Fehler kann
+          auftreten, wenn der Dateiname Zeichen enthält, die nicht mit
+          der in Windows eingestellten Codepage übereinstimmt und wenn
+          der Benutzer die Windows-Option zur Speicherung von kurzen
+          Dateinamen deaktiviert hat.</li>
+        <li>F = Unbekannter Fehler. Unbekannte Fehler sollten eigentlich
+          nicht auftreten. Diesen Fehler bitte an mich melden. </li>
+        <li>NG = Analysepunkt wurde nicht verfolgt. Durch die vom
+          Benutzer gewählte Option wurde verhindert dass die Dateien,
+          auf die an dem Analysepunkt verzweigt wird, mitgezählt werden.</li>
+      </ul>
+      <h3>3.3. Größenanzeige von (beinahe) leeren Verzeichnissen<a
+          name="empty_directory_display"></a></h3>
+      <p>Bei der Anzeige von Verzeichnisgrößen gibt es einige
+        Spezialfälle. Wenn ein Verzeichnis die Größe 0 hat, so kann dies
+        verschiedene Ursachen haben. Bislang musste man hierzu die
+        Felder "Leer" und "Enthält Dateien" bemühen, jetzt wird diese
+        Information direkt in dem Größenfeld angezeigt. Es werden die
+        folgenden Fälle unterschieden:</p>
+      <ul>
+        <li>Das Verzeichnis enthält nur Dateien, deren Größe jeweils 0
+          byte ist. In diesem Fall zeigt DirSizeCalc 0 als Größe an.</li>
+        <li>Das Verzeichnis enthält nur leere Unterverzeichnisse, aber
+          keine Dateien. In diesem Fall wird "Keine Dateien" angezeigt.</li>
+        <li>Das Verzeichnis ist gänzlich leer. In diesem Fall wird
+          "Leer" angezeigt.</li>
+      </ul>
+      <h3>3.4 Platzhalter<a name="placeholders"></a></h3>
+      <p>Die Berechnung von Verzeichnisinhalten kann sehr lange dauern,
+        Aus diesem Grund zeigt DirSizeCalc solange "Verz." an, bis der
+        eigentliche Wert berechnet ist. Stellt DirSizeCalc fest, dass es
+        sich bei einem Verzeichnis, um einen Analysepunkt handelt, so
+        wird für einen Bereitstellungspunkt "Bereitst.-Punkt" und für
+        einen Abzweigungspunkt "Abzw.-Punkt" angezeigt. </p>
+      <h2>4. Einstellungen<a name="settings"></a></h2>
+      <p>Mit dem mitgelieferten Einstellungs-Programm
+        (DirSizeCalcSettings.exe) lässt sich DirSizeCalc komfortabel an
+        die eigenen Bedürfnisse anpassen. Schließt man das Programm mit
+        OK, so werden die Einstellungen abgespeichert. Allerdings ist
+        ein zusätzlicher Neustart des Total Commanders notwendig, damit
+        die veränderten Einstellungen Wirkung zeigen. </p>
+      <h3>4.1. Feldeinstellungen<a name="field_settings"></a></h3>
+      <p>Mit den Feldeinstellungen kann das Verhalten der in DirSizeCalc
+        eingebauten Felder an die eigenen Bedürfnisse angepasst werden.
+        Auf dem Tab "Felder" stehen zunächst nur die vordefinierten
+        Felder zur Verfügung. Drückt man auf "Hinzufügen" kann man auch
+        eigene Felder definieren. Dies ist hilfreich, wenn man ein
+        bestimmtes Feld mit verschiedenen Verhalten nutzen möchte. Mit
+        "Löschen" kann man die benutzerdefinierten Felder wieder
+        löschen, wenn sie nicht mehr benötigt werden. </p>
+      <p>Durch einen einfachen Klick auf ein Feld in der Liste öffnet
+        sich ein Dialog mit den für dieses Feld verfügbaren
+        Einstellungen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass nicht alle Einstellungen
+        für alle Felder zur Verfügung stehen.</p>
+      <h4>4.1.1 Name<a name="field_settings_name"></a></h4>
+      <p>Bei eingebauten Feldern ist dies der Name des Feldes, bei
+        benutzerdefinierten Feldern ein vom Benutzer festgelegter Name.</p>
+      <h4>4.1.2. Feldauswahl<a name="field_settings_field_selection"></a></h4>
+      <p>Hier kann eines der Felder von DirSizeCalc gewählt werden.</p>
+      <h4>4.1.3. Ladeverhalten<a name="field_settings_loading_behavior"></a></h4>
+      <p>Diese Einstellung betrifft nur Felder in benutzerdefinierte
+        Spaltenansichten und in der Miniaturansicht. Standardmäßig
+        werden die Werte automatisch nach dem Öffnen eines Verzeichnis
+        ermittelt (Einstellung automatisch). Wenn man hier die Option
+        "Bei Bedarf laden" wählt, dann werden durch Drücken der
+        Leertaste die Werte für alle Felder des Verzeichnisses unter dem
+        Cursor ermittelt. </p>
+      <h4>4.1.4. Verhalten bei Analysepunkten<a
+          name="field_settings_reparse_point_behavior"></a></h4>
+      <p>Analysepunkte sehen aus wie normale Verzeichnisse, zeigen
+        jedoch entweder auf ein Datenträgervolumen (Einhängepunkte) oder
+        auf ein anderes Verzeichnis (Verzweigungspunkte). Standardmäßig
+        behandelt DirSizeCalc Analysepunkte wie normale Verzeichnisse.
+        Das bedeutet dass der Verzeichnisinhalt des Ziels berechnet
+        wird. Dies kann jedoch zu falschen Annahme über die
+        Verzeichnisgröße führen und die Dauer der Berechnung stark
+        erhöhen. Außerdem ist es nicht immer gewünscht Analysepunkte zu
+        folgen, weil dadurch unter Umständen Verzeichnisgrößen mehrfach
+        angezeigt werden.</p>
+      <p>DirSizeCalc bietet getrennte Optionen für Einhänge- und
+        Verzweigungspunkte an. Deaktiviert man die Optionen
+        "Einhängepunkten folgen" bzw. "Abzweigungspunkten folgen" kann
+        die Werteberechnung komplett abgeschaltet werden. Darüber steht
+        mit der Option "aber nicht in Unterverzeichnissen" die
+        Möglichkeit zur Verfügung Analysepunkte auf der angezeigten
+        Ebene wie Verzeichnisse zu behandeln, jedoch keine
+        Werteberechnung für Analysepunkte in Unterverzeichnissen
+        durchzuführen. </p>
+      <h4>4.1.5. Rekursiv<a name="field_settings_recursive"></a></h4>
+      <p>In der Standardeinstellung wird ein Verzeichnis rekursiv
+        verarbeitet. Es wird also der komplette Verzeichnisinhalt mit
+        dessen Unterverzeichnissen und wiederum den Unterverzeichnissen
+        der Unterverzeichnisse usw. in die Berechnung miteinbezogen.
+        Wird rekursiv deaktiviert, wird nur der direkte
+        Verzeichnisinhalt berücksichtigt.</p>
+      <h4>4.1.6. Werte zwischenspeichern<a
+          name="field_settings_cache_values"></a></h4>
+      <p>DirSizeCalc speichert die ermittelten Werte der Verzeichnisse
+        in einem Zwischenspeicher, damit die erneute Darstellung der
+        Verzeichnisgrößen schneller ablaufen kann. Das Zwischenspeichern
+        hat allerdings den Nachteil, dass die aktuell angezeigten
+        Verzeichnisgrößen nicht mehr aktuell sind. In diesem Fall kann
+        der Benutzer ein Neueinlesen veranlassen. Dies geschieht über
+        den Befehl "Quelle neu einlesen" im Menü Ansicht des Total
+        Commanders (Tastenkürzel: Strg+R). </p>
+      <h4>4.1.7. Berechnungslimit<a name="field_settings_limit"></a></h4>
+      <p>Wenn Sie nur ungefähre Werte benötigen und die Berechnungszeit
+        möglichst kurz sein muss sollten Sie ein Berechnungslimit
+        aktivieren. Hier können Sie die Anzahl der Dateien eingeben, die
+        für ein Verzeichnis ermittelt werden sollen. </p>
+      <p>Wenn das Limit erreicht wurde, wird die Berechnung abgebrochen
+        und "&gt;=" vor dem ermittelten Wert angezeigt. Damit wird
+        angezeigt, dass der eigentliche Werte deutlich größer sein
+        könnte. </p>
+      <h3>4.2. Einheiteneinstellungen<a name="unit_settings"></a></h3>
+      <p>Die eingebauten Einheiten unterscheiden sich in Einheit und
+        Präfix. Einheit gibt an, ob und wie die Größe in Bytes in eine
+        andere Einheit umgerechnet wird. Der Präfix gibt an, wie diese
+        Umrechnung durchgeführt wird. </p>
+      <p>Die so genannten Binärpräfixe basieren auf Zweierpotenzen. Die
+        Größenordnungen sind 2^10 =1.024 (= 1 KiB), 2^20 = 1.048.576 (=
+        1 MiB) und 2^30= 1.073.741.824 (=1 GiB).</p>
+      <p>Die SI-Präfixe basieren auf Zehnerpotenzen. Die Größenordnungen
+        unterscheiden sich jeweils um den Faktor 1000. 1.000 bytes (= 1
+        kB), 1.000.000 (1 MB), 1.000.000.000 (= 1 GB).</p>
+      <p>Viele Programme - so auch der Total Commander - rechnen mit
+        Zweierpotenzen, benutzen dafür jedoch SI-Präfixe. Diese
+        Darstellung ist falsch und wird daher in DirSizeCalc nicht
+        verwendet. </p>
+      <p>Unten finden sie eine Tabelle mit Beispielumrechnungen. Die
+        tatsächliche Darstellung hängt von den gewählten
+        Formatierungsoptionen ab. </p>

+      <p>DirSizeCalc bietet dem Benutzer die Möglichkeit sehr genau
+        einzustellen, bei welcher Datei- oder Verzeichnisgröße welche
+        Einheit benutzt wird. Standardmäßig benutzen benutzerdefinierte
+        Einheiten die Einheit bytes, also keine Umrechnung. Jede andere
+        Einheit, die sie verwenden wollen, müssen sie zunächst
+        aktivieren, indem sie sie ankreuzen. Anschließend tragen sie den
+        Wert in bytes ein, ab dem Verzeichnisgrößen in dieser Einheit
+        angezeigt werden sollen. </p>
+      <p>Möchte man dass KiB die kleinste verwendete Einheit ist, so
+        muss man beim Größenfeld 0 eintragen.</p>
+      <h4>4.2.3. Formatierung<a name="unit_settings_formatting"></a></h4>
+      <p>Hier stehen verschiedene Optionen zur Verfügung, um die
+        Formatierung von Verzeichnis- und Dateigrößen anzupassen. Dies
+        umfasst die Anzahl der Nachkommastellen, Dezimal- und
+        Tausendertrennzeichen und einige mehr. </p>
+      <h4>4.2.4. Vorschau<a name="unit_settings_preview"></a></h4>
+      <p>Die Vorschau zeigt anhand repräsentativer Größen wie die
+        späteren Verzeichnisgrößen im Total Commander aussehen werden. </p>
+      <h3>4.3 Ort der Einstellungsdatei ändern<a

+      <p>Standardmäßig speichert DirSizeCalc seine Einstellungen im
+        gleichen Verzeichnis, in dem sich auch die Datei Wincmd.ini -
+        die Haupteinstellungsdatei des Total Commanders - befindet, ab.
+        In diesem Dialog können Sie zwischen verschiedenen Orten wählen.</p>

+      <p><strong>Kann ich DirSizecalc verwenden, um die Größe aller
+          Ordner oder aller selektieren Ordner zu berechnen?</strong></p>
+      <p>Ab Total Commander 7.50 ist das möglich. Wie das funktioniert,
+        wird in einem <a href="#use_cases_load_fields_on_demand">Anwendungsfall</a>
+        beschrieben.</p>
+      <p>&nbsp;</p>
+      <p><strong>Ich bin in ein Verzeichnis mit vielen Dateien
+          gewechselt. Zuvor hatte ich nach einer Spalte sortiert, die
+          ein Feld von DirSizeCalc enthält. Total Commander scheint zu
+          hängen. Was soll ich tun?</strong></p>
+      <p>Total Commander wartet hier auf die Beendigung der Berechnung
+        und blockiert so die Benutzung des Programms. Ein Abbruchversuch
+        durch den Benutzer (z. B. durch Drücken von Escape) wird vom
+        Total Commander nicht beachtet und somit auch nicht an das
+        Plugin weitergeleitet. Ich habe den Autor des Total Commanders
+        gebeten, eine solche Abbruchbehandlung möglichst bald
+        einzubauen.</p>
+      <p>In der Zwischenzeit kann man sich mit der Option
+        "Berechnungslimit" behelfen, die nur einen Teil des Inhalts sehr
+        großer Verzeichnisse berücksichtigt und somit die Wartezeit
+        verkürzt.</p>
+      <p>&nbsp;</p>
+      <p><strong>Statt die Größe von Verzeichnissen in Archiven
+          anzuzeigen, wird dort 0 angezeigt. Warum geht das nicht?</strong></p>
+      <p>In diesem Fall müsste DirSizeCalc die Werte vom Total Commander
+        erhalten. Dies ist mit der aktuellen Total Commander Version
+        leider nicht möglich. Ich habe den Autor des Total Commanders
+        gebeten, diese Funktion möglichst bald einzubauen.</p>

+      <p><strong>In früheren Versionen gab es Felder mit "Im
+          Hintergrund" und "Bei Bedarf". Warum sind sie nun
+          verschwunden?</strong></p>
+      <p>Die Standardeinstellung ist nun "Im Hintergrund". Wer die Werte
+        dennoch lieber "Bei Bedarf" laden möchte, kann dies auch gerne
+        weiterhin tun. Starten Sie dazu bitte das mitgelieferte
+        Konfigurationsprogramm (DirSizeCalcSettings.exe). Hier können
+        sie für jedes Feld individuell einstellen wie es geladen werden
+        soll oder ein benutzerdefiniertes Feld mit den gewünschten
+        Einstellungen anlegen. Der Grund für die Änderung war die
+        Reduzierung der Feldanzahl und vor allem die Verkürzung der
+        Feldnamen. Wenn man benutzerdefinierte Spalten definierte,
+        musste man den Titel händisch kürzen, wodurch die Information
+        zum Ladeverhalten im Spaltentitel ohnehin wegfiel. </p>

+      <p>Total Commander 6.50 is required for this plug-in. Total
+        Commander 7.03 is recommended for this plug-in. </p>
+      <h2>3. Use <a name="use"></a></h2>
+      <p>Before DirSizeCalc's fields can be used they must be added to
+        the part of Total Commander where they are intended to be used.
+        Basically all content plug-ins can be used in the same way. The
+        following program parts of Total Commander support content
+        plug-ins. </p>

+      <h3>3.1 Use cases <a name="use_cases"></a></h3>
+      <h4>3.1.1. Display size of files and directories automatically<a
+          name="use_cases_automatic_calculation"></a></h4>
+      <h5>Custom columns view</h5>
+      <p>Total Commander provides to calculate the size of directories
+        by executing the command cm_CountDirContent (Hotkey
+        Shift+Alt+Enter). An automatic calculation each time a directory
+        is entered isn't possible though. By using the field "Size" the
+        directory sizes are displayed as fast as possible. In the
+        following explains step by step who this can be setup.</p>
+      <ol>
+        <li>Open the configuration dialog by clicking
+          Configuration/Options in the main menu. </li>
+        <li>Navigate to the page "Custom columns".</li>
+        <li>Click the "New" button to create a new custom columns view.
+        </li>
+        <li> You can setup the number of columns and its contents n this
+          dialog. Click the "Add column" button. A new row with
+          properties is displayed. This row represents the new column's
+          attributes. </li>
+        <li>The next step is to define the new column's contents. Click
+          the + button to assign a field to the column. Select
+          dirsizecalc/Size/&lt;default&gt; in the menu. The property
+          "Field contents" now displays [dirsizecalc.Size]. You can
+          select another unit instead of &lt;default&gt;. Fore more
+          details on this see the "Units" chapter. The property "Title"
+          displays the text which will be displayed in the column
+          header. The title can be changed at will. </li>
+        <li>Click OK to close the dialog "Custom columns". </li>
+        <li>Click OK to close the configuration dialog.</li>
+      </ol>
+      <h4>3.1.2. Delete empty directory trees <a
+          name="use_cases_delete_empty_folder_trees"></a></h4>
+      <h5>Find files</h5>
+      <p>A large amount of directories containing no files may make it
+        difficult to maintain orientation in the file system. It's a
+        good idea to clean up from time to time. Values provided by
+        content plug-ins such as DirSizeCalc can be used to narrow down
+        the number of found files. So the find files function of Total
+        Commander is used together with with the DirSizeCalc plug-in to
+        find directories containing no files. </p>
+      <ol>
+        <li>Click "Search" in the Commands menu. </li>
+        <li>Navigate to the "Plugins" tab. </li>
+        <li>In this tab rules can be defined. For each file and
+          directory in the search scope the defined rules will be
+          checked. Only if the rule applies the file or directory will
+          be added to the list of found files. In this case the rule is
+          Plugin: dirsizecalc, Field: Contains Files, Operator: = and
+          Value: No. In Furthermore the short form is used. In this case
+          this would be dirsizecalc.Contains Files=No. The rule ensures
+          that only directories will be found that contain no files. If
+          a directory contains files or a problem occurred during
+          retrieving the contents the directory won't be found during
+          the search. </li>
+        <li>Click on the button "Start search". Wait until the search
+          has finished. </li>
+        <li>Click on the "Feed to Listbox" button to display the search
+          results in a Total Commander file list panel.</li>
+        <li>Select all directories listed in the search results panel.</li>
+        <li>Apply the delete operation to the selected files. During the
+          process a prompt might be displayed informing you that a
+          directory isn't empty. The statement is true but this is just
+          a directory containing other empty directories. The prompt can
+          be answered by clicking on the "All" button.</li>
+      </ol>
+      <p>Alternatively the rule dirsizecalc.Empty=Yes can be used. In
+        this case the directories will be deleted without warnings as
+        they don't even contain empty subdirectories. The disadvantage
+        is that after deleting new empty subdirectories emerge until no
+        empty directories are found.</p>
+      <p>&nbsp;</p>
+      <p>It's a good idea to search the search parameters to be able to
+        repeat the search later. </p>
+      <h4>3.1.3. Find out if compression makes sense <a
+          name="use_cases_check_if_comression_makes_sense"></a></h4>
+      <h5>Custom columns view </h5>
+      <h5>Find files</h5>
+      <p>The Windows file system NTFS allows you to set the "compressed"
+        attribute to each file. The file is compressed but in contrast
+        to archives you can continue working as if the file were
+        uncompressed. Why are not all files compressed automatically?
+        Reading and writing of compressed files takes longer compared to
+        uncompressed files. For this reason only files should be
+        compressed where write operation are performed infrequently.
+        Many files are archives or files with a high information
+        content. The cannot be further compressed by using NTFS
+        compression. This is where "Compressed Size" and "Compression
+        Rate" come into play. They can be setup the same way as
+        described in the use case "Display size of files and directories
+        automatically" but an additional column "Compressed Size" has to
+        be added. Alternatively you can search for files which couldn't
+        be compressed very good. The search is setup in the same way as
+        described in "Delete empty directory trees" but the rule defined
+        in the "Plugins" tab differs. It could be for example some like
+        this:</p>

+      <h4>3.1.4. Find out how many files are contained in a directory <a

+        <li>Open the configuration dialog by clicking
+          Configuration/Options in the main menu. </li>
+        <li>Navigate to the page "Thumbnail view".</li>
+        <li>Make sure "Show custom fields below thumbnails" is checked.
+        </li>
+        <li>Enter "Size: " (without quotes) in the fields below. </li>
+        <li>Click on the "Add" button right to the edit field. </li>
+        <li>Select "dirsizecalc/File Count" in the menu. </li>
+        <li>Click OK to close the configuration dialog.</li>

+      <h4>3.1.5. Find out if a directory contains subdirectories <a
+          name="use_cases_contains_subdirectories"></a></h4>
+      <h5>Tooltip</h5>
+      <ol>
+        <li>Open the configuration dialog by clicking
+          Configuration/Options in the main menu. </li>
+        <li>Navigate to the page "Display".</li>
+        <li>Make sure that the options " Show filename in file list as
+          tooltip if truncated" and are activated. </li>
+        <li>Make sure the options "Show file name in file list as
+          tooltip if truncated " and "Win32-style tips with file
+          comments"are activated.</li>
+        <li>Click on the "+" button to create a user-defined tooltip.</li>
+        <li>The dialog "User-defined fields by file type" is displayed.
+          Click on the "Add" button to create a new file type.</li>
+        <li>The dialog "Enter file type" is displayed. Enter *.* to
+          include all directories.</li>
+        <li>Click OK to close the dialog "Enter file type".</li>
+        <li>Now a dialog is displayed which is also labeled
+          "User-defined fields by filetype". First enter "Contains
+          subdirectories: " (without quotes).</li>
+        <li>Clock on the the + button. </li>
+        <li>Select dirsizecalc/Contains subdirectories. In the text
+          fields the following text should be displayed: "Contains
+          subdirectories: [=dirsizecalc.Contains Subdirectories]"
+          (without quotes).</li>
+        <li>Click OK to close the dialog "User-defined fields by file
+          type".</li>
+        <li>Click OK to close the dialog "User-defined fields by file
+          type".</li>
+        <li>Click OK to close the configuration dialog.</li>
+      </ol>
+      <p>The described approach can be used in a slightly modified way
+        to color directories containing subdirectories using the "Colors
+        by file type" function. In this case Total Commander uses
+        DirSizeCalc to process the operation in foreground. For this
+        reason Total Commander until the operation is completed. </p>
+      <h4>3.1.6. Load the directory size for all selected or all fields
+        by pressing a keystroke<a name="use_cases_load_fields_on_demand"></a></h4>
+      <p>Many users don't want that all sizes are calculated
+        automatically. They rather want to know the sizes of all
+        selected or of all displayed directories. Total Commander makes
+        it possible. Here is an example how this can be achieved by
+        pressing a keystroke.</p>
+      <ol>
+        <li>Start the included setting tool (DirSizeCalcSetting.exe).</li>
+        <li>Select the "Load on demand" option for the already selected
+          field "Size" in the dialog "Edit field settings".</li>
+        <li>Click OK.</li>
+        <li>Restart Total Commander.</li>
+        <li>Create a new custom column view as described in chapter
+          3.1.1 .</li>
+        <li>Open the configuration dialog by clicking
+          Configuration/Options in the main menu.</li>
+        <li>Select the page "Misc.".</li>
+        <li>Select the desired hotkey (e.g. Alt+Shift+Enter).</li>
+        <li>Click on the button with the magnifier.</li>
+        <li>Select the "Custom column view" category in the displayed
+          "Choose command" dialog.</li>
+        <li>Select cm_LoadSelOnDemandFields, to calculate the size of
+          all selected directories or cm_LoadAllOnDemandFields to
+          calculate the size of all directories. </li>
+        <li>Click OK to apply the selected command. </li>
+        <li>Click on the button with the checkmark to apply the chosen
+          command.</li>
+        <li>Click OK to close the configuration dialog . </li>
+        <li>Now select the directories to calculate.</li>
+        <li>Press the chosen hotkey . </li>
+      </ol>
+      <p>Once configured you just have to set the created custom column
+        view and the steps 15 and 16. Although the new commands can be
+        found in the "Custom column view" category they also work great
+        in thumbnail view. </p>
+      <h3>3.2 Additional values for displayed values <a
+          name="additional_information"></a></h3>
+      <p>DirSizeCalc shows some tokens in front of the calculation
+        result, if the complete directory content couldn't be retrieved.
+        This can be the case for several reasons: </p>
+      <ul>
+        <li>AD = Access denied. This error is displayed if the current
+          user has no sufficient access permissions for opening the
+          directory. </li>
+        <li>U = Unreadable Unicode name. This error occurs if file name
+          contains characters which don't match the currently set
+          Windows code page and you have deactivated storing of short
+          file names.</li>
+        <li>E = Unknown error. Unknown error should not be displayed at
+          all. When it's displayed please report it to me.</li>
+        <li>NF = Not followed reparse point. The user has set the option
+          to now follow reparse points which results in not including
+          these these files in the calculation.</li>
+      </ul>
+      <h3>3.3. Size display of (almost) empty directories <a
+          name="empty_directory_display"></a></h3>
+      <p>There can be multiple reasons for a directory size of 0 bytes.
+        So far the fields "Leer" and "Contains Files" had to be used to
+        distinguish them but now this information is displayed directly
+        in the "Size" field. The following cases are distinguished: </p>
+      <ul>
+        <li>The directory contains only files of size 0. In this case
+          DirSizeCalc displays 0 as size.</li>
+        <li>The directory contains only empty subdirectories but no
+          files. In this case "No files" is being displayed.</li>
+        <li>The directory is really empty In this case "Empty is being
+          displayed. </li>
+      </ul>
+      <h3>3.4 Placeholders<a name="placeholders"></a></h3>
+      <p>Calculation of directory can take a long time. For this reason
+        DirSizeCalc displays "Dir." until the actual value has been
+        calculated. If DirSizeCalc detects that the directory is
+        actually a reparse point "Junc. Pt." is displayed for junction
+        points and "Mnt. Pt." is displayed for mount points. </p>
+      <h2>4. Settings <a name="settings"></a></h2>
+      <p>The bundled settings tool (DirSizeCalcSettings.exe) can be used
+        to personalize DirSizeCalc. Closing the setting tool will save
+        the settings but Total Commander has to be restarted to apply
+        the changed settings.</p>
+      <h3>4.1. Field settings <a name="field_settings"></a></h3>
+      <p>Field settings can be used to personalize the field's behavior.
+        Initially just predefined fields are available on the "Fields"
+        tab. By clicking on "Add" you can add you own fields. This can
+        be helpful if you want to use a certain field with different
+        behaviors. By clicking "Delete" custom fields can be deleted.</p>
+      <p>A single click in the list will open a dialog which includes
+        all settings available for the selected field. Please note that
+        not all settings are available to all fields.</p>
+      <h4>4.1.1 Name<a name="field_settings_name"></a></h4>
+      <p>This is the field's name for all built-in fields. For custom
+        fields a name set by the user.</p>
+      <h4>4.1.2. Field selection <a
+          name="field_settings_field_selection"></a></h4>
+      <p>Here you can pick one of DirSizeCalc's fields .</p>
+      <h4>4.1.3. Loading behavior <a
+          name="field_settings_loading_behavior"></a></h4>
+      <p>This setting only applies to fields used in custom column views
+        and in thumbnail view. By default the values are calculated
+        automatically when opening a directory (setting automatically).
+        If you change this to "on demand" here than you will have to
+        press the space key to load the values of all configured fields
+        for the directory under the cursor.</p>
+      <h4>4.1.4. Reparse point behavior <a
+          name="field_settings_reparse_point_behavior"></a></h4>
+      <p>Reparse points look like normal directories but they point to a
+        disk volume (mount points) or another directory (junction
+        points). By default DirSizeCalc treats reparse points just like
+        normal directories which means the target's directory contents
+        is calculated. This may lead to wrong assumptions on the
+        directory's size and take a long time. </p>
+      <p>DirSizeCalc provides separated options for mount- and junction

+        addition the option "but not in subdirectories" can be used to
+        treat reparse points like directories in the visible directory
+        level but don't calculate values for reparse points in
+        subdirectories.</p>
+      <h4>4.1.5. Recursive<a name="field_settings_recursive"></a></h4>
+      <p>By default a directory is processed recursively. This means the
+        complete directory including all subdirectories and the
+        directory content of this subdirectories and so on is considered
+        in the calculation. By disabling "Recursive" only the directory
+        content is considered.</p>
+      <h4>4.1.6. Cache values <a name="field_settings_cache_values"></a></h4>
+      <p>DirSizeCalc stores the retrieved values in a cache to speed up
+        displaying directory sizes. The cache's disadvantage is that the
+        displayed values are not always up to date. If you want to get
+        the actual directory sizes you can force a reload by executing
+        "Reread source" from the View menu (hotkey: Ctrl+R).</p>
+      <h4>4.1.7. Calculation limit<a name="field_settings_limit"></a></h4>
+      <p>If you just need approximate values and calculation time is
+        critical you enable a calculation limit. Here you can enter the
+        number of files which should be retrieved for a directory. </p>

+        will be aborted and "&gt;=" will by displayed in front of the
+        value. This indicates the the actual value might by much bigger.</p>
+      <h3>4.2. Unit settings <a name="unit_settings"></a></h3>
+      <p>The built-in units differ in unit and prefix. Unit defines if
+        and how the size in bytes is converted to another unit. Prefix
+        defines the base on which the calculation is performed.</p>
+      <p>The so called binary prefixes are based on power of two. The
+        size dimensions are 2^10 =1.024 (= 1 KiB), 2^20 = 1.048.576 (= 1

+          selected or all directories?</strong></p>
+      <p>Yes this is possible starting from Total Commander 7.50. There
+        is a <a href="#use_cases_load_fields_on_demand">use case</a>
+        which describes how it works. </p>
+      <p>&nbsp;</p>
+      <p><strong>I changed to a directory containing many files.
+          Previously I sorted by a column which contained a DirSizeCalc
+          field. Total Commander seems to hang. Is there anything I can
+          do? </strong></p>
+      <p>Total Commander waits for the calculation to finish and blocks
+        program's use. Trying to abort the calculation (e.g. by hitting
+        Escape) is not handled by Total Commander and for this reason
+        not forwarded to the plug-in. I asked the author of Total
+        Commander to add adda way to abort the calculation as soon as
+        possible. </p>
+      <p>In the meantime you can use "Calculation limit" option which
+        only calculates a fraction of the directory contents and
+        therefore shortens the waiting time.</p>
+      <p>&nbsp;</p>
+      <p><strong>Instead of displaying the size of directories in
+          archives just 0 is displayed. Why it doesn't work?</strong></p>
+      <p>In this case DirSizeCalc would have to get the values from
+        Total Commander. Unfortunately this isn't possible in the
+        current Total Commander version. I asked the author of Total
+        Commander to add this feature as soon as possible.</p>
+      <p>&nbsp;</p>
+      <p><strong>In earlier versions there have been fields called "in
+          background" and "on demand". Where have they gone?</strong></p>
+      <p>The default setting is now "in background". If you want to load
+        the values "on demand" you are free to do so. Please start the
+        bundled configuration utility (DirSizeCalcSettings.exe). This
+        tool allows you to set "on demand" loading for each single field
+        or you can even create your own custom field with loading
+        behavior set to "on demand". The reasons for changing the field
+        names have been reducing the field count and shortening of field
+        names. If you added custom columns you had to change the title
+        manually resulted in losing the information anyway. </p>

+Контентный плагин для сортировки файлов по группам.
+Это новая независимая версия Group Sort (только группы) (http://wincmd.ru/plugring/groups.html).
+
+Для определения групп поддерживаются простые файловые маски и PCRE-совместимые регулярные выражения.

+*** Настройки ***
+
+Плагин хранит настройки в ini-файле с таким же именем, как у плагина и расширением ini (по умолчанию Groups.ini).
+Настройки групп соответствуют плагину Group Sort, за исключением регулярных выражений.
